About

In the early 2010s, maddenedge.com was a Madden tips community — a place where competitive players shared schemes, blitzes, and game film breakdowns back when that kind of knowledge was hard to find.

The site's owner passed away, and maddenedge.com eventually went dark. The name, and the community around it, deserved better than disappearing.

This site revives the Madden Edge name as a nod to that community. It is run by a former member of the original site, and it carries on the same idea — real football concepts, explained for Madden players — with modern tools: an interactive scheme-fit tool, a full scheme guide, coverage and formation decoders, and team-by-team scheme fits for all 32 teams.

To be clear: this site is not the original maddenedge.com, is not affiliated with its late owner or his estate, and is not affiliated with EA Sports or the NFL. It is a tribute in name and spirit — nothing more, and nothing less.
