Pirate Three Man
Crash in · nose loops out
The end and tackle crash inside while the nose tackle loops around them to the edge — a three-man game that frees the nose outside.
When it applies
Passing downs when your nose has juice — sub your fastest end inside and let him loop free. Pro tip from the community: put your fastest DE at nose.
+ StrengthsA free rusher off the edge from an interior alignment; wrecks the center-guard exchange.
− Trade-offsIf the crashers do not occupy blockers, the loop gets picked up; light against the run.
