Simulated Pressure
Overwhelm the protection.
Simulated and real pressure from everywhere, tight man behind it. Show blitz, drop linemen, bring backers and DBs — the protection never sorts it out.
When it applies
Against young QBs and bad protections; obvious passing downs.
+ StrengthsFree rushers and confusion; forces quick, bad decisions.
− Trade-offsMan behind it gets exposed if the rush doesn't get home; screens kill it.
